Privacy Statement for T~Mail
CDLI has created this privacy statement to demonstrate our firm
commitment to your privacy while using the T~Mail system. The
following document discloses our information-gathering and
dissemination practices for T~Mail.
We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our servers
and to administer our Web site. Your IP address, Web browser type,
and operating system type may be used to gather broad demographic
information. Specific information of this type will only be used
within CDLI.
Your T~Mail account preferences contain personal information, such
as date of birth. This data is not shared with any organization outside
of CDLI. This information is only used with the forgotten password
routine the software uses.
Security
This site has security measures in place to protect its users. Every
user must have a password assigned to his or her account. Users are
expected to keep this password private in order to protect their
account from unauthorized use. CDLI will not disclose any of
your personal information unless such action is necessary to: (a)
conform to legal requirements or comply with a legal process; (b)
protect and defend the rights and/or property of CDLI; (c)
enforce the T~Mail Terms of Service; or
(d) act to protect the interests of its members or others.
We use a sophisticated password mechanism that is designed to protect
users passwords from discovery by unauthorized persons. We can not
disclose passwords to you unless you are able to answer your
"Password Hint" correctly.
